Wexford Insulation
Wexford Insulation
How it started
A neighbour’s attic was losing heat through the ridge.
That small job, years back, is still how I describe what we do around here. We go in, find where the heat is escaping, and sort it properly. Simple as that.
What we do
Most homes we visit in Wexford have at least one weak point, a cold wall, a draughty floor, or cavity fill that was never done right. We cover the full range of insulation work, from attic insulation top-up jobs on older semis to full external wall insulation systems on exposed coastal properties out near Rosslare or Curracloe.
- External and cavity wall insulation
- Attic, rafter and loft insulation
- Spray foam, open and closed cell
- Underfloor and pipe lagging
- Draught proofing and air sealing
- BER improvement and SEAI grant help
How we work
We take a good look before we quote, because the right product for a solid wall in Johnstown village is not always the right product for a timber-frame house on a new estate. (I once quoted a job wrong in my first year and learned that lesson the expensive way.) However, getting the spec right at the start saves everyone time and money.
Damp and condensation
A lot of calls we get are about damp or black mould on internal walls. Nine times out of ten that comes down to poor thermal performance and no air sealing. We deal with that side of things too, not just the insulation itself.
