External wall insulation

This is a big part of what we do. A lot of homes around Kilkenny city, out past Thomastown, and up towards Castlecomer are older builds with solid walls. No cavity to fill. External wall insulation is the right answer, and we finish those systems with silicone render, which handles the Irish weather well and looks clean when it is done.

Grants and BER ratings

We work with the SEAI grant scheme. But the paperwork side of it puts people off, and we help with that. Getting your BER rating improved is worth the effort. It affects your energy bills, your comfort, and the value of the house. Funny how many people only find that out when they go to sell.

Damp and condensation

Poor insulation and cold wall surfaces cause condensation. We deal with it through proper air sealing and the right insulation specification, not just surface treatments.
