How we actually work

When I price a job, I walk the site properly. On older Tonbridge properties, that means checking for damp before anything else. We carry out damp proofing as standard where it’s needed, including chemical damp proof injection into masonry, which sorts out rising damp at the source rather than masking it.

Honestly, you’d be surprised how many renovation jobs we pick up where a previous builder skipped that step entirely.

When foundations are being dug, we get the depth right for the ground conditions present. Clay subsoil is common across this part of Kent and it moves. Getting that wrong at the start costs everyone later.

Materials and standards

We work with facing brick, concrete block, sand and cement render, and modern insulated systems. However, the material choice always follows what suits the existing structure and what the client actually needs.

With planning requirements tightening across TN9 and TN10, we stay on top of permitted development rules so you’re not caught out.
