How we work

Solid building starts below the surface, it doesn’t begin at the wall face. We dig to the right bearing strata, set our foundations properly, and we don’t cut corners on drainage detail. That groundwork discipline carries through everything else we do.

Damp and structural care

Over the years, working on older properties near Petts Wood and around the Cray Valley area, damp has come up more times than I can count. We deal with it properly. That means identifying the source first, then treating it correctly, whether that’s a chemical damp proof anchor injection into the mortar bed or a full tanking system where the wall has failed more seriously.

Local knowledge, Orpington and beyond

We cover work from Chislehurst right through to the edges of the North Downs. Knowing the soil types, the clay-heavy ground that shifts, the older build stock, that kind of local familiarity makes a real difference when you’re quoting accurately and planning structure.
