Rain gets into everything. I grew up watching it in Dublin, watching falls set wrong on patios turn a garden into a paddling pool by October. That stayed with me. Every job we do here in Takeley starts with drainage and fall, before we even talk about what it looks like.

Every surface listed above has its own bedding requirements. Porcelain needs a full mortar bed. Sandstone breathes differently. We know the difference, and we work accordingly.

Beyond the patio itself

Patios rarely stand alone. Most gardens we work in across the CM22 and surrounding postcodes need fencing sorted, or a wall built, or the lawn dealt with. We install timber fencing, erect garden walling, and lay both roll-on turf and artificial grass. It keeps things simple for you.

I once priced a job for a lad in Whitehall (the Dublin one, not London) who’d had three contractors in before me. All three ignored the slope. That is not how we operate. Falls set correctly, water goes away. Straightforward.
