Southam Patios
Southam Patios
Patios that look great on day one but crack, sink, or drain badly by year two. That’s the problem we fix before it starts. We’re based in Southam and we lay patios properly, with the right base, the right materials, and the right finish.
What we do
- Porcelain tiled patios
- Indian sandstone and limestone paving
- Garden paths and paving installations
- Concrete flagstone work
- New walling and timber fencing
- Turfed lawns and artificial grass
We’ve laid patios across Warwickshire, including a run of jobs on the Hathaway Grange development where the ground conditions were awkward and the drainage had to be thought through carefully. Not glamorous work. But getting it right underneath is what stops you ringing us back in two years with a sunken slab.
Porcelain and natural sandstone are two very different animals. Porcelain is dense, non-porous, and needs a full mortar bed with a flexible adhesive because it won’t forgive movement underneath. Sandstone breathes, takes on colour from the weather, and beds differently, usually onto a sharp sand and cement mix. But the jointing matters on both. We use permeable jointing compound resin-bound systems on most jobs now because they handle water movement properly and don’t crack out the way old mortar pointing does after a hard frost.
And that’s a detail most people don’t think to ask about until they’ve had a patio re-pointed twice already.
We cover CV47 and the surrounding Warwickshire postcodes. Every job gets a proper site look before we price it. No guessing, no vague estimates.
