We’ve been laying patios and garden paving across Warwickshire for years, and if there’s one thing we know, it’s that a well-laid outdoor space earns its keep every single time the sun comes out. Porcelain is popular right now. Rightly so. However, it does need handling properly. The calibrated thickness means every slab is uniform, which sounds straightforward until you’re actually bedding them on a prepared sub-base and getting the levels spot on across a full garden. We’ve done enough of them to know what goes wrong and how to stop it going wrong in the first place.

Sandstone and limestone are different animals entirely. They move, they absorb, they need the right jointing compound or you’ll be back out there pulling weeds from the gaps inside a year. We don’t cut corners on that.

Fencing and walling round things off properly. A patio that runs up against a wobbly old fence looks unfinished. We sort the whole lot.
