Converting garages is something we do regularly. Clients near Delamere Forest and out towards Helsby come to us for exactly that kind of work. It is a practical way to add usable square footage without the cost of a full extension.

How we work on site

Brickwork is laid to gauge using a consistent mortar mix, and we always set out from a datum level before any blockwork goes up. That is not the most exciting sentence to read, however it is the kind of detail that stops walls cracking at the corners two winters later.

We use proper materials. Sand-faced engineering bricks where durability matters, dense concrete block below DPC, the correct cavity wall insulation spec for the build type. Around Frodsham town centre we deal with older properties a lot, and matching existing brickwork takes patience, not guesswork.

Experience you can see

We have been doing this work long enough to know that most problems on site come from corners being cut early on. Foundations poured too shallow, ties not placed correctly, renders applied to damp substrates. We do not cut those corners.
