Elton Builders
Building work done properly, from the ground up
From the foundations upwards, structural building work demands precision at every stage. Elton Builders has spent years tackling the full range of construction projects across Cheshire, covering everything from large-scale extensions to the kind of repairing damaged brickwork that gets ignored until it becomes a serious structural problem.
We work across Ellesmere Port, Frodsham, and the Stanlow area regularly, so we understand the ground conditions, the local building stock, and what’s typically needed here.
What we do
- Extensions and full renovations
- New builds and structural alterations
- Loft conversions and garage conversions
- Brickwork, blockwork, and pointing
- Groundworks and concrete foundations
- Plastering, rendering, and general maintenance
How we work
Every project starts with a proper site assessment. We look at what the ground is doing, what the existing structure can carry, and what the build actually requires before a single block gets laid. That process saves time and money later (and it tends to catch problems the previous builder missed).
We use solid, proven materials throughout. Facing brick, dense concrete block, sand and cement render, cavity wall insulation where it’s specified. Nothing fancy, just the right product for the job at hand.
Structural alterations are an area we take particularly seriously. Removing a load-bearing wall or cutting a new opening means the lintel specification, the temporary propping, and the padstone detail all have to be correct. Getting that wrong is not something you walk back easily.
