Cast iron versus modern aluminium

A lot of older Dublin semis near the Monastery Road end of Clondalkin still have original cast iron guttering. Some of it is worth restoring. Some of it is shot. Where it makes sense, we restore and repaint it properly. Where it does not, we replace it with aluminium seamless profiles that outlast uPVC and suit period rooflines far better than cheap plastic ever will.

Fascia and soffit work

We fit uPVC fascia and soffit boards and, where colour matters (and it often does on newer builds), we carry out fascia capping aluminium colour matching to keep everything consistent with existing roofline materials. No mismatched trims.

Straight talk on repairs

Brackets pulling away. Joints leaking. Water tracking back behind the fascia. We see the same problems every week. (Half the time a gutter just needs re-pitching, not replacing, though I admit I once quoted a full job before spotting that myself.) We fix what needs fixing.
