Materials we work with

The material makes the difference, and we take that seriously. Porcelain is popular right now because it handles frost well and stays clean. However, natural stone still wins for character. We have worked with Liscannor flagstone on several Essex jobs, and nothing else quite sits like it once it beds in.

Drainage is something a lot of customers do not think about until it is too late. A properly installed sub-base with a compacted MOT Type 1 layer and correct fall angle is what keeps a patio looking right after ten winters. We build that in from the start, not as an afterthought.

Fencing, walling and lawns

It is rarely just the patio. Most customers want the full picture sorted at once. We put up timber fencing and garden walling, and we lay turf and artificial grass too. Getting it all done together means one dig, one clearance, one tidy finish across the whole space.
