Tipperary Insulation

What we do

: Insulation, done properly.

We cover County Tipperary and the surrounding area, from the slopes near Slievenamon right across to the farms outside Cashel and the housing estates around Thurles. Older homes here lose heat fast, and that’s what we fix.

Residential insulation in Ireland covers a wide range of work. Here’s what we carry out:

  • External wall insulation (EWI)
  • Cavity wall insulation
  • Pumped bead cavity wall insulation
  • Internal wall insulation and dry lining
  • Attic and loft insulation
  • Open cell spray foam insulation
  • Closed cell spray foam insulation
  • Roof and rafter insulation
  • Underfloor and floor insulation
  • Garage and outbuilding insulation
  • Pipe lagging and hot water tank insulation
  • Draught proofing and air sealing

What I see on site

Pumped cavity wall insulation is one of the most common jobs I carry out. The process involves injecting EPS beads into the cavity void using a blowing machine, filling gaps that have been leaking heat for years without anyone realising it.

A lot of houses in Tipperary were built with poorly filled cavities, it’s not unusual to find almost nothing in there at all. That’s a quick win on your heating bill once it’s sorted.

Grants and BER

I work with homeowners on SEAI grant applications. The paperwork doesn’t have to fall on you, I can guide you through what’s available and what your home qualifies for. A better BER rating also matters if you’re planning to sell.

Damp and condensation problems are often linked to poor insulation. We look at the full picture, not just the obvious gaps.
