We’ve been laying patios and paving across South Minster and the surrounding Essex area for years. Anyone who’s worked near the coast knows what salt air does to a poorly laid slab. On the north side especially, coastal salt exposure gets into any weak jointing and starts lifting beds within a season. We don’t cut corners on that.

We work with the materials properly. No rushing the sub-base. No skipping the compacting. I’m not going to pretend every job goes perfectly first time, but we go back and we sort it if something’s not right. That’s just how we operate.

Our groundwork is solid. Drainage matters. Levels matter. A patio that pools water after a shower is no use to anyone. We make sure the falls are right before a single slab goes down.
