How it started, and why we’re still here

A leaking roof on Burton Road, sorted in an afternoon. That’s the job I still think about most.

It reminded me why doing this properly matters so much. We cover the whole of the Wirral Peninsula and out towards Chester, so when someone in Parkgate calls about a ridge tile that’s worked loose, or a family near Ness Botanic Gardens spots damp spreading across a bedroom ceiling, we know those streets and those rooftops.

What we actually do

We’ve worked on all types of roof tile installations and repairs over the years, from natural slate to concrete interlocking tiles, and everything in between. Guttering, chimney repointing, flat roofing on extensions, fascia and soffit replacements. We’re honest about what needs doing and what doesn’t (I’ll always tell you if a repair will hold rather than push a full replacement you don’t need).

Materials and standards

We work with fibre glass GRP, EPDM rubber and felt on flat roofs, and source quality tiles that match existing rooflines wherever we can. Getting the match right on an older property matters, and we take time over it. I won’t pretend I’ve never had to order a second sample to get the colour right.
