Materials and Methods

We work with whatever suits your budget and garden. Sandstone’s popular round here because it weathers well and looks the part. Porcelain’s brilliant if you want something that stays looking new.

Block paving works well for driveways that need to take car weight. Concrete flagstones are your solid, no-nonsense option that won’t break the bank.

For walls, we use whatever matches your existing brickwork or goes with the patio material. Same thinking with fencing timber that’ll last more than a couple of seasons.

Getting the Foundations Right

Half the problems we see come from shortcuts on the base work. Water gets underneath, frost does its damage, and you’re back to square one.

We dig down properly, get the drainage sorted, and use the right hardcore and sand. Takes longer but saves you grief down the line.
