A bit about how we got started

A neighbour asked me to look at her cracked sandstone one afternoon. That was twelve years ago, and the rest just followed from there. We have been laying patios and transforming gardens across Blackrock and the surrounding area ever since, and I still get the same satisfaction from handing a garden back to a family as I did on that first job.

What we do

We cover everything from a straightforward new lawn to a full garden renovation, working with materials that actually suit the Irish climate and the character of the area.

How we approach the work

One thing I always mention to customers is low-voltage lighting integrated into steps, because people rarely think to ask about it upfront, and it makes an enormous difference once the job is done. I am not the flashiest salesman (I’ll be honest, I once spent ten minutes explaining drainage fall to someone who just wanted to know if I liked the colour she picked), however the care we put into every job speaks clearly enough.

Our area

We work right across Blackrock and into the neighbouring postcodes. If you are close enough to Booterstown Church to hear the bells on a still morning, chances are we have laid a patio on your road at some point. We know the local ground conditions, the frost patterns in winter, and the kind of finish that suits these gardens.
