Castlebar Tourist Information.
Castlebar is situated on the N5, a short drive from Westport. Castlebar is in the enviable position of enjoying all the benefits of a bigger town and still maintaining its local family owned businesses and shops while making welcome the bigger retail chain shops.
The landscape in Castlebar has changed in the last few years, and it has changed a lot, this change brings a wide variety of services and lots of them. Catch a Live show at The Royal Theatre & Events Centre there are some great nights to be had here. Time your visit and take in a Boxing night televised live on RTE. Night clubs and late night disco bars ensures a vibrant night life.
