Gardai are investigating a raid on a post office in the Coolock area of north Dublin this morning.
A number of raiders are believed to have entered the premises at the Northside Shopping Centre shortly before midday.
However, details of the incident are sketchy.
There are unconfirmed reports that a shot may have been fired, but nobody is believed to have been injured.
