Blarney Tourist Information

Known as "the biggest little village" in Ireland Blarney is just 5 miles away from Cork City and is set in beautiful wooded countryside. If its shopping that takes your fancy then a trip to Blarney Woollen Mills in County Cork is not to be missed! Established in 1824 the outlet has become one of the largest craft shops in Ireland renowned for its quality souvenirs and fine clothing range.

Blarney Village hosts two excellent golf courses and you don't need to be a member to have a game on the links. For the more active visitor there is an impressive water-ski centre which offers first-rate coaching and is open between May through to September each year. If its family activities that interest you then the Woodland Farm offers an educational yet fun nature trial that is very reasonably priced.
