About Us
ARCHWAY INTERIORS is run by Hannah Lordan, who brings to the work of interior design a strong visual sense as well as her expertise in colour, fabrics and furnishings.

Given her background as an artist and fashion designer, it was the natural next step for Hannah to undertake further professional development through training to be an interior designer and then setting up her own business. Along the way, the college where she trained also invited her back to teach interior design.

"When i decided to set up ARCHWAY INTERIORS it was because I realised the unending versatility that would come with the business. I appreciate a large variety of styles and so, from one month to the next, it's great fun... like working on 10 different canvases at the same time."

 

An unexpected bonus for Hannah's start-up business was that many existing customers understood and appreciated her intentions. "Amazingly many of my previous clients, for whom i'd been dress-making for years, started inviting me to dress their homes too!"

 

Having studied art has also proved to be a great asset. "My eyes are trained to be constantly inspired by what's around me. I am consistently absorbing new ideas that make an important contribution to mood boards or presentation boards for clients."

 

But one big idea does remain constant at ARCHWAY INTERIORS. "Every job is as important as the next one, whether it's an individual room or an entire home. That means I really have to listen to what people want. As far as I'm concerned a brief is a brief and budget is a budget; my job is understanding what a client want and to deliver for them."

   A design scheme to suit the home owner and their lifestyle and to
   show the properties features at their best.
 
* Room Layout-
   Starting at building stage, best use of layout for plumbing and
   electric supply and finally orientation of furniture etc.
 
* Mood Boards/ Sample Boards-
   Mood boards or Sample boards provided when requir ed, mainly
   giving the client a visual feel for what to expect from a finished &nbs p; style.

* Paint & Wall Finishes-
   Choosing the right colour schemes and paint finishes for individual
   walls, plus various dec orative finishes carried out by specialists
   such as Sponging,Ragging,Crackle Effects,Veneti an Plaster,Murals
   and much more.
 
* Floor Coverings-
   Carpets,Solid and Semi-Solid Timbers,Porcelain,Ceramic and
   Marble tiling,also various commercial flooring choices.
 
* Window Dressing-
   Archway Interiors has it's own source of a wide variety of fabrics
   to suit all budgets. For our clients we will measure,quantify,make
   fit, all price options are gone through before any ordering is done.
 
* Lighting-
   A huge variety of lighting again available to suit all budgets,and
   sourced through a local source.
 
* Furniture-
   Furniture sourced directly from the supplier for the client, or time
   set aside to visit recommended furniture show rooms with the
   client,also bespoke furniture designed and made.
 
* Soft Furniture & Accessories-
   Upholstery services available for new furniture or upholstering
   existing pieces. Also wide range of accessories available, and
   one off pieces specially commissioned by local crafts men &   
   women.
 
   * Art-
   Prints sourced and framed to order, also original works sourced
   and commissioned.
 
* Kitchen/Bathroom Design & Remodelling-
   Redesigning and remodeling of existing kitchens and bathrooms
   with access to kitchen suppliers, appliance suppliers, plumbers
   & electricians.
 
* Architectural Details-
   With listed projects special attention given to the restoration of
   Period architectural detail, and qualified craftsmen in the
   various areas brought on board.
 
* Project Supervision-
   Full project management available on all turn-key jobs given.
