Emily has a natural reportage approach to wedding photography, while not forgetting that traditional family portraits are also an important record of the day. She believes that preparation is key, informal meetings with the bride & groom and visits to photo shoot locations beforehand ensure that everything runs smoothly and with stunning results.
A wealth of experience & qualifications. Emily was classically trained in film photography in Cork and as an integral part of her degree in Graphic Design in Limerick College of Art & Design. Further to that, Emily studied both film & digital methods with the New York Institute of Photography.
Emily's attention to detail and artistic flair developed in the years she spent working in the design and advertising industry. As well as working, Emily also enjoyed teaching courses in both Photography and Graphic Design throughout the years.

"We take out our album more often than we thought we would because Emily really managed to capture the greatest moments of both ourselves, our family and our friends. Even the moments we might have thought we missed - especially before the church! Emily was so unobtrusive, everyone commented on her ability to blend in and her friendly persona as opposed to the bossy and dictatorship sytle photography we are all too used to. She had done all her research on the surrounds the day before so there were no delays in getting the perfect wedding shots and allowing us more time with our guests. Fantastic value for money and we are delighted with our results - our storybook style album is the greatest idea we have seen to date. Her photographs are very creative, natural and capture the essence and character of her subject with a wonderful play on light and shade. All of our guests commented on her subtleness and ability to blend seamlessly into the background yet being able to capture the most precious of moments. "Our wedding had to be small and uncomplicated but special. As we are both not Irish we didn’t have Feedback on how to find a good and flexible photographer. I did a lot of research on the internet, compared photographers and found Emily’s homepage. I thought her pictures were great. Emily was lovely and very accommodating for our special requests. She also has the great skill to capture all those special moments. It was great value for money, Emily was the perfect choice. Our wedding pictures travelled the world leaving family and friends stunned. We would highly recommend Emily!"
