The Golf Course - Designed By Eddie Hackett

The architectural brief was to design a 'world class' golf course that would challenge competent and experienced players from the back tees, yet be playable and enjoyable for the average handicap player from middle and forward teeing areas. The brief also included that the golf course be to a standard capable of hosting professional golf events, both Irish and European.

The course boasts panoramic views across Kenmare Bay. Combine this with the beautiful Kerry mountains as a backdrop, and you have one of the most spectacular settings in Ireland.

Awards
In 2006, the Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club was awarded a prestigious HSBC regional course rankings Gold Medal.

By Road - we are located in the village of Templenoe, 4 miles from the town of Kenmare on the N70 "Ring of Kerry". Approaching from the N22 Cork/Killarney road, take the R569 in the direction of Kilgarvan and continue on to Kenmare. Proceed through Kenmare and turn left on to the N70. Alternatively, take the more scenic N71 route from Killarney to Kenmare passing through "Ladies View" and "Molls Gap", then on entering Kenmare, turn right onto the N70.

By Air - The golf course is within easy reach of Shannon and Cork International Airports as well as Kerry County Airport, providing daily access from all corners of the world.

By Sea - Regular car ferry crossings are available from the United Kingdom, arriving at Dublin, Rosslare or Cork Harbours, and from the continent of Europe arriving at Cork Harbour.
