Higgins Waste & Recycling Ltd. have been in operation for 27years and have a wide range of experience in all areas of waste disposal and recycling. Their are four core areas of specialist activity; Domestic Waste Disposal, Construction & Demolition Waste, Recycling and a dedicated transfer station.

While domestic and commercial waste disposal activities are at the heart of the business operation, recycling and environmental consciousness have become increasingly important aspects of our business and we take this aspect of the business extremely seriously. 

We offer a wide range of waste & recycling services including recycling of timber and steel, door to door collection of waste & dry recyclables for domestic and commercial customers and door to door glass recycling for commercial customers. We also provide a transfer station open to the public Monday to Friday 8.15 to 5.30 and Saturday 8.15 to 4.30. Here customers can manage their own waste rather than availing of the kerbside collection. At the yard we provide a recycling service for household glass bottles, household plastic bottles, household food cans and drink cans, car batteries and clothes absolutely free! All other waste and recycling can also be brought to the yard at a small charge and therefore making a saving of 33% on the kerbside collection. Vans, Car trailers and pickups can also bring waste and recycling to the yard and pay by weight.

Another major area of our business is skip hire for commercial and domestic customers. Skips range in size from 4 to 40 cubic yards.
