If you're an aspiring journalist looking for an all-island platform for your content, Studenty.me is what you’re looking for!
At Studenty.me we're passionate about giving every student an international platform for their talent.
Studenty.me is a site for students by students across Ireland and Northern Ireland, which focuses on campus news. The theme is social media inspired and current categories are Entertainment, Sport, Sex, Politics and News. We’re starting small, but plan to build a vibrant online student community.
As a Studenty online journalist you'll cover the categories you’re most confident writing for and enjoy, however we’ll also encourage you to develop your experience in complementary areas.
You will generally cover a particular area of Ireland and Northern Ireland and we will champion your work on every platform and channel we can. As this isn't a paid role, we aim to offer as many benefits as possible including; technical and soft skills development and certification, support with NUJ membership, future paid roles with Studenty.me, prize competitions and we plan to reward those who contribute most with share options in the company. We're on the cutting edge of student journalism and we won’t stand still!
The team leading Studenty.me are all professionals and experts in their fields, as well as being recent or current full and part-time students. The team has solid experience in fast growth start-ups, platform development, content, marketing and sales.
Building a successful business will support all the socially responsible things we want to do. We will support everyone who works (and plays) with us in helping them develop their skills, career, vocation or business. We intend to be a platform to promote student volunteers, entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, artists, student sports and interests as well as advocate on behalf of students on the issues that matter. We’ll be a voice for those who struggle to be heard.
