The market is located on the N72 (main road from Fermoy to Mallow) 1 km Mallow side of Killavullen at the Nano Nagle Centre. There are numerous stalls at the market selling a diverse range of products such as locally made cheese, free range chickens, apples and apple juice, fresh bread, home made cakes, jams, marmalades, curd and fudge. There are also stalls selling locally produced beef, lamb, pork, salmon, eggs and vegetables. There is a cafe which also sells fairtrade products including tea, coffee, oats and pasta. Among the non food items on sale are essential oils, soaps, moisturisers, environmentally - friendly cleaning products, plants, greeting cards, craft items and one of the best second hand book stalls north of the Lee. All books are on sale at just 50c each and all proceeds go to local charities.
So come and visit the market in the tranquil setting of the Nano Nagle Centre on the banks of the Blackwater River.
